Dog Days of Summer

The 5 most dangerous words to you success are "I don't feel like it". I learned this from Dr. Rod Gilbert Success Hotline (1-973-743-4690) and I highly recommend you call it every day to hear his recorded messages.

It's a typical hot and humid summer in NY and it is difficult to focus your attention on playing and workouts when everyone starts a greeting with "Man its too hot today". Comments like "We have to play today" bring the group down. Let's switch to "I get to play today". Playing in less than ideal conditions helps you develop your mental skills as well as physical ones. Anyone can play well when they feel good. The great ones perform when they feel like crap.

The second most dangerous phrase is "I'll do it later". Get out there early and do that morning workout. You don't want to worry about the "return to campus fitness test".

Success is a choice (and if you want to become great- remember success leaves clues)
